My first pieces have been purchased right down the street from my home at a yard sale. For only fifteen dollars I picked up this adorable dresser and nightstand set complete with the little nicks and imperfections of time.
Delightfully, I discovered a set of tiny diary keys which made me smile as I imagined the young lady who once occupied her life's goings on amongst these relics. Did she pen of her first love?

So, as i embark on this journey of creating my delightful guest room respite I will call upon my inner Jane Austen.
I plan to paint the dresser and night stand a monochromatic all white, and will be changing up the knobs.
Mismatched linens in sweet, soothing colors will dress the twin bed, and the single window.
